Giving Friday
Giving Friday is a voluntary financial donation scheme that aims to expand the donation base of UMAH. This idea, which was suggested by a member during a general meeting in 2018, calls upon every Jamaat member to donate the maximum amount possible, every Friday, towards the UMAH Masjid project. There are 32 members participating in this program now. The highest weekly donation currently is $50.00 and the lowest is $10.00. UMAH Board of Directors is appealing to every member of our community to not only be generous in participating in this program but to also strive to recruit other Muslims.
